In Lviv, a businessman evaded taxes, but the money was returned to the budget.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors of Lviv region referred a criminal case to the court regarding the acting director of a company producing industrial refrigeration and ventilation equipment. He is charged with tax evasion of a significant amount (part 1 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).<\/p>\n
The investigation established that during 2023 the man, performing the duties of the company’s director, provided false information in the company’s tax documentation. In particular, during the inspection, specific facts of intentional non-reflection in the tax reports of operations of writing off goods from the company’s balance sheet were discovered.<\/p>\n
As a result of these actions, the budget of Ukraine did not receive over 4.6 million UAH in taxes. Consequently, after law enforcement discovered the violations, the company reimbursed the state in full. In connection with this, a motion was sent to the court to release the entrepreneur from criminal responsibility.<\/p>\n
Pre-trial investigation was carried out by detectives of the BEB in the Lviv region.<\/p>\n
