In the Ternopil region, a colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is accused of using subordinates to build a private house.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors<\/strong> of the Ternopil Specialized Defense Prosecution in the Western region have sent an indictment to the court against the commander of a pontoon-bridge brigade and four servicemen for abuse of office. <\/p>\n “From January to August 2024, by order of the commander, four of his subordinates were engaged in the construction of his private house in one of the villages of the Khmelnytsky region.” – the investigation established.<\/p>\n The servicemen chose to perform work for the benefit of the commander instead of their direct duties. To ensure official payments, the colonel included them in an order for deployment to the combat zone in the south of the country.<\/p>\n This deceit led to an illegal payment of almost a million hryvnias from the state budget.
