Prosecutors of Lviv region<\/strong> upheld the sentence of a 19-year-old resident of Stebnyk, who caused the death of the victim.<\/p>\nThe incident occurred last summer during a gathering at the apartment of a 63-year-old man. The woman, along with another man, began to beat the host. After that, the attackers continued their gathering, leaving the beaten man in another room. He died from his injuries by morning.<\/p>\n
The court of first instance found the woman guilty and sentenced her to 7 years and 1 month in prison. The defense filed an appeal, seeking to mitigate the sentence.<\/p>\n
The Lviv Court of Appeal<\/em>, taking into account all the circumstances of the case, supported the prosecutors’ position and left the sentence unchanged.
