The exhumation of Soviet burials on the Hill of Glory in Lviv has been completed. “There is no more Hill of Glory in Lviv,”<\/em> stated the Mayor, Andriy Sadovyi.<\/p>\n A total of 355 human remains were found: 251 in individual graves and 84 in three mass graves. The fourth mass grave, believed to be from World War I, contained no remains.<\/p>\n Andriy Yaremko<\/em><\/p>\n The exhumation of NKVD agents’ graves was carried out according to a separate protocol. The Chief of Staff of the Lviv City Executive Committee, Yevhen Boyko, reported on the reburial of agents at the Holoskiv Cemetery. The work was conducted in accordance with permits from the Ministry of Culture. The agent Kuznetsov was reburied.<\/strong><\/p>\n Scientists took photographs of the discovered elements and conducted anthropological studies. DNA analysis requires separate permissions, as does forensic examination.
