In the Lviv region, four cases of fires in ecosystems have been recorded, destroying over 1450 m\u00b2 of land.<\/p>\n
One of the fires, which occurred on July 24 in the village of Cherneve in the Yavoriv district, nearly led to a tragedy. Stubble burned on an area of 1300 m\u00b2, and rescuers from the city of Mostyska and the volunteer fire brigade of the village of Cherneve were involved in extinguishing the fire. “During the fire, a 22-year-old man almost died from inhaling toxic smoke,”<\/em> rescuers report. He refused hospitalization after being examined by medics. The fire also destroyed a Volkswagen Passat car.<\/p>\n The fire was localized at 18:55 and extinguished at 19:11. Six rescuers and two units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
