As of 08:00 on August 04, 2025, changes in water levels are observed on the rivers of the Lviv region.<\/p>\n
Over the past day, certain rivers in the Dniester basin and in the upper reaches of the Strv\u2019yazh have seen a rise in water levels by 2 \u2013 14 cm, while on the other rivers, a decline in water levels up to 3 cm was observed. In the plains rivers of the Western Bug basin and in the upper reaches of the Styr, a decline in water levels continued by 2 \u2013 10 cm per day.<\/p>\n
Water levels in certain sections of the rivers in the Dniester basin continue to approach their long-term minimum values (HP r. Dniester \u2013 village Strylky, r. Stryi \u2013 village Matkiv). The water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester was 12.0 \u2013 17.0\u00b0, and in the rest of the region’s rivers \u2013 18.0 \u2013 22.0\u00b0.<\/p>\n
Consultation on changing the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region: over the next day, a decline in water levels will prevail on most rivers of the region; however, in the second half of the day on August 04, due to expected precipitation, rapid rises in water levels of 0.1 \u2013 0.5 m above the current levels within the riverbeds are possible on certain tributaries of the Dniester.<\/p>\n
