LKP \u00abLvivelectrotrans\u00bb is finalizing the preparation of new Schindler Be 4\/8 trams from the canton of Basel-Land, Switzerland.<\/p>\n
Andriy Yaremko<\/em> explains that these trams could start operating as early as August. Currently, they are undergoing necessary tests to comply with Ukrainian standards. The tests include verification of technical characteristics and safety<\/strong>. In Lviv, unlike in Switzerland, trams move in the general traffic flow.<\/p>\n Therefore, they have been additionally equipped with road safety elements. The testing process is taking longer due to the need to adapt to Lviv’s urban conditions.
