On the most beautiful balconies of the residents of the Lviv community, not only flowers grow, but also exotic plants and spices. Such mini-spaces decorate not only the buildings but also the streets of the city. The winners were awarded recognitions and gifts from sponsors.<\/p>\n
The Lviv City Council recognized residents who make the city more beautiful by greening their balconies. “In a difficult time for Ukraine, this is especially valuable and gives strength,”<\/em> noted the Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning, Lyubomyr Zubach.<\/p>\n The competition had 28 participants, 15 of whom became winners. One of them, Stepan Dubrov, created a special balcony for his 90-year-old mother. Oksana Voznyuk plants vegetables and spices on her balcony, while Iryna Berezovska grows exotic plants.<\/p>\n The audience’s choice prizes went to Halyna Nesterko, whose balcony is made of plastic caps.
