September marked the end for many heroes from the Stryi community who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom.<\/p>\n
Roman Sihlaiev<\/strong> (29.12.1975 \u2014 14.09.2017) was a Senior Warrant Officer and participant in the ATO. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Andriy Huk<\/strong> (08.05.1971 \u2014 24.09.2016) served as a sapper in the 703rd separate regiment. He received a severe injury while performing a combat task. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Ihor Trembach<\/strong> (22.05.1964-09.09.2020) was a Major and participant in the ATO. He served in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Yuriy Hnatyak<\/strong> (06.06.1996 \u2013 07.09.2022) died in battle for the liberation of Ukrainian land. He is buried in the village of Dobryany.<\/p>\n Volodymyr Boychuk<\/strong> (26.10.1977 – 10.09.2022) died during a counter-offensive. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Kostiantyn Stepanov<\/strong> (04.02.1985 – 10.09.2022) was a participant in the ATO and a volunteer. He died during a combat mission. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Mykola Ozerov \u201cKrym\u201d<\/strong> (24.11.1977- 21.09.2022) was killed by an enemy sniper bullet. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Vladyslav Stasiv \u201cDynamo\u201d<\/strong> (29.11.1999 – 21.09.2022) was killed by an enemy sniper’s bullet. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi Cemetery.<\/p>\n Ivan Horak<\/strong> (05.07.1982 \u2013 12.09.2022) was killed during enemy shelling. He is buried in the village of Lysiatychi.<\/p>\n Ruslan Stelmakh \u201cRatatouille\u201d<\/strong> (05.02.1990-07.09.2023) was killed during artillery shelling. He is buried at the Avenue of Glory in Stryi.<\/p>\n Ivan Shemeniev<\/strong> (31.08.1991-22.09.2023) died while performing a combat mission. He is buried in the village of Pidhirtsi.<\/p>\n Mykola Kalapishchak<\/strong> (02.12.1990-28.09.2023) died during a combat mission. He is buried in the village of Verkhnye, Sambir district.<\/p>\n Ihor Hanevych<\/strong> (06.08.1969-28.09.2023) died while performing a combat mission.
