He was an operator of unmanned aerial vehicles in the strike unmanned aerial vehicle unit of military unit A0998. He was considered missing in action. He died on 31 July while performing a combat mission near the village of Popasne in Donetsk Oblast. He died on 21 August near the village of Kolomiytse in the Synelnykivsky district of Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of a heart attack.
