On the battlefield, Lviv police officer Bohdan Verkhomiy, who served in the National Police since 2023, has died.<\/p>\n
Bohdan Verkhomiy was born in Lviv and began his service in the National Police in 2023. A year later, he joined the special-purpose police regiment KORD in Lviv region. He carried the title of police officer with honor and performed combat missions in dangerous areas in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
On May 27, during counter-diversion measures, Bohdan was wounded and went missing. His death was confirmed on September 2. His fellow servicemen remember him as a brave and reliable fighter.<\/p>\n
Bohdan is survived by his parents and two younger sisters. The personnel of the National Police of Ukraine expresses sincere condolences to his family and friends. \\”He is forever 29.
