Police identified these offenders in the districts of Drohobych, Zolochiv, Stryi, Yavoriv, and Sheptytsky.<\/p>\n<p>Most of these drivers were deprived of their driving privileges by the court for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or for causing traffic accidents. However, ignoring court orders that have taken legal effect, they got back behind the wheel. Police identify such cases, after which investigative bodies initiate criminal proceedings and, upon completion of the pre-trial investigation, send indictments for court review.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the Lviv police warn and remind that non-compliance with court decisions is a criminal offense under Article 382 (Failure to Comply with a Court Decision) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Intentional failure to comply with a court sentence, decision, order, decree that has come into legal force, or hindering their enforcement is punishable by a fine of five hundred to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes or imprisonment for up to three years.
