Prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office have sent an indictment to court concerning the head of a non-governmental organization.<\/p>\n
The investigation established that in November 2024, a 23-year-old man implemented an illegal scheme to receive undue benefit for influencing officials of the medical-social expert commission. He assured that with his assistance, a military conscript would be assigned a Group II disability, allowing avoidance of mobilization on ‘legal grounds’.<\/em> He priced this service at 10,000 US dollars, which he later received from the ‘client’ during a meeting.<\/p>\n The accused is charged with receiving undue benefit for himself for influencing the decision of a person authorized to perform state functions, combined with extortion of such benefit (part 3 of article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
