The fourth pilgrimage of servicemen to Mount Athos in Greece has started in the Lviv region.<\/p>\n
26 soldiers and veterans from the Lviv region embarked on a pilgrimage on October 6 as part of the ‘Spiritual Victory’ project. In total, more than 90 defenders participated in it. The initiative helps Ukrainian soldiers restore their inner strength and peace of mind.<\/p>\n
Before departure from Lviv, priests of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine blessed the pilgrims. *’The ‘Spiritual Victory’ initiative and pilgrimages to Athos are a good example of combining spiritual and psychological rehabilitation,’* said the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.<\/p>\n
The participants will have the opportunity to visit monasteries on Mount Athos, participate in divine services, and attend sessions with psychologists. Previous journeys took place in November 2024, as well as in January and July 2025.<\/p>\n
