According to the LMR press service, reconstruction work on the main water supply line has been ongoing for over two months near the town of Maheriv. In this area, 1.9 km of new polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 560 mm has been installed, and 1.2 km of the main line has been updated on the Horodotsky direction.<\/p>\n
“Main water lines are the strategic arteries of the city’s water supply,”<\/em> said the director of LMKP “Lvivvodokanal” Dmytro Vankovych. He emphasized that the replacement is being carried out based on an analysis of leaks and damages to predict emergency risks.<\/p>\n According to him, most emergencies in 2024 were recorded in the northern direction (53%), which supplies water to the Shevchenkivskyi district. The restoration of this group of water intakes has become a priority.
