This was reported by LVIV.MEDIA.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Mykola Odynotsky, deputy director of the Road Administration Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration, spoke about the situation. Currently, regional authorities are actively seeking opportunities to resume the construction process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"text-lg font-bold text-text-100 mt-1 -mb-1.5\">Reasons for the suspension of funding<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Construction of the bridge on the local road &#8220;Sokal \u2014 Stoyaniv&#8221; began in 2023 at the expense of the State Road Fund. However, in the same year, the fund was liquidated, and all its funds were transferred to the general fund of the state budget to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">The project is being implemented by Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC. The company received UAH 91 million and carried out part of the additional work at its own expense in order to properly preserve the facility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">&#8220;There is a portion of the work that has been completed but not paid for. The contractor simply carried out the work so that the bridge could be preserved in a technologically correct manner,&#8221; explained Mykola Odynotsky.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Voice of Sokalshchyna has already reported that the new bridge across the Western Bug River in Sokal will be significantly wider than the previous one, and the old bridge is planned to be dismantled.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"text-lg font-bold text-text-100 mt-1 -mb-1.5\">What has already been done<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">As of today, the following stages of construction have been completed:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<ul class=\"[&amp;:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc space-y-2.5 pl-7\">\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Mounted supports and beams<\/li>\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Flooded overhead slab<\/li>\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">The coastline on one side of the crossing has been reinforced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"text-lg font-bold text-text-100 mt-1 -mb-1.5\">What remains to be done<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">To complete the project, it is necessary to:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<ul class=\"[&amp;:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc space-y-2.5 pl-7\">\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Reinforce the bank on the opposite side of the bridge<\/li>\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Asphalt the crossing itself and the approaches to it<\/li>\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Install fencing and lighting systems<\/li>\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Transfer all engineering communications from the old structure to the new one (gas pipeline, water pipeline, internet cables, etc.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">Dismantle the outdated crossing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reminder: In June 2023, a tender was announced for the reconstruction of the bridge crossing over the Western Bug River in Sokal. Photo<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"text-lg font-bold text-text-100 mt-1 -mb-1.5\">Funding requirements<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">&#8220;We are seeking funds and appealing to central authorities \u2014 the Ministry and the Cabinet of Ministers \u2014 for targeted financing to complete the construction. The total amount of financial resources required is 256 million hryvnias. We cannot cover this amount from local budgets,&#8221; emphasised Mykola Odynotsky.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"text-lg font-bold text-text-100 mt-1 -mb-1.5\">Information about the property<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"grid-cols-1 grid gap-2.5 [&amp;_&gt;_*]:min-w-0\">\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal break-words\">The bridge is located on the local road &#8220;Sokal \u2013 Stoyaniv&#8221; and connects the city of Sokal with the village of Zhvyryka. The cost is 357 million hryvnia.
