Law enforcement officers in Lviv region are appealing to the public for assistance in establishing the circumstances of a fatal traffic accident that occurred on November 4 at approximately 5:10 a.m. on the western bypass road of Lviv, near the village of Sokilnyky.<\/p>\n
According to preliminary information, a 42-year-old resident of Stryi district was driving an Opel Zafira<\/strong> when he hit an unidentified woman. The impact threw the woman into the opposite lane, where she was struck again by a DAF truck<\/strong> driven by a 69-year-old man from Dnipropetrovsk region. The woman died on the spot due to the severe injuries sustained.<\/p>\n Police are currently working to identify the deceased and are calling on anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to come forward.<\/p>\n Description of the deceased:<\/strong><\/p>\n Age: estimated 30\u201340 years<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Height: approximately 165 cm<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Hair color: light brown<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Eye color: light gray<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Distinctive features: moles on the back of the neck, a heart-shaped tattoo with the inscription “amaly”<\/em> on the right forearm<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Clothing at the time of the accident:<\/strong><\/p>\n Beige fleece zip-up sweater<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Dark blue jeans<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Green coat<\/p>\n<\/li>\n White socks<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Black boots<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n A criminal investigation has been launched under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2013 violation of traffic safety rules resulting in death.
