The penalty under Article 122 (Exceeding Established Speed Limits) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses includes: for exceeding the speed by more than 20 km\/h \u2014 a fine of 340 hryvnias<\/strong>; by more than 50 km\/h \u2014 a fine of 1,700 hryvnias<\/strong>. Speed continues to be among the leading causes of traffic accidents with injuries. To prevent this and reduce the number of accidents, patrol officers monitor speed daily in high-risk areas using the TruCAM device.
