In Lviv, police have uncovered a criminal who illegally alienated an apartment.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, a 50-year-old Lviv resident, previously convicted, forged an official document and used a fictitious deed of gift. In this manner, he illegally alienated an apartment on Liska Street, which was supposed to be transferred to the ownership of the Lviv City Council after the owner’s death. The damages to the city budget amounted to more than 920,000 hryvnias.<\/p>\n
Investigators have informed the perpetrator of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 190 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article’s sanction provides for a punishment of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.<\/p>\n
Pre-trial investigation is ongoing under the procedural supervision of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n
