The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to add 193 national heritage sites to the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Among the new entries in the register are sacred landmarks of our city, such as the Church of St. George of the Basilian Monastery<\/strong> (1771\u20131776) and the Basilian Monastery Cells<\/strong> (1772\u20131809). Also included in the list is the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit of the Bernardine Monastery<\/strong> (1747\u20131760), now known as the St. Vladimir Cathedral, and the Bernardine Monastery Cells<\/strong> (1695\u20131767).<\/p>\n \u201cThe Government’s decision is aimed at the preservation and state accounting of important historical, architectural, and cultural landmarks, as well as strengthening their legal protection.
