From Monday, 6th April<\/strong>, repairs will commence on Stryiska Street in Lviv, on the section from Naukovaya Street to the city boundary. Initially, works will start on the city exit side in the Frankivskyi district, and then move to the opposite side in the Sykhivskyi district. The plan is to remove the old surface, mill the road, and lay a new layer of asphalt.<\/p>\n After the repairs, Stryiska will have four lanes instead of three, with the additional lane designated solely for public transport. The works are expected to last approximately three months with deferred payment. Andriy Moskalenko<\/strong>, the First Deputy Mayor of Lviv, noted that the deferred payment method is being applied for the first time on this street.<\/p>\n The repair works will be divided into three stages: from the intersection with Naukovaya Street to Maksymovycha Street, from Maksymovycha Street to Miklosha Street, and from Miklosha Street to the city boundary. The contracting organisation “Onur” will mill the road surface and lay new asphalt. During the works, traffic movement will be partially restricted, and trolleybuses may be stopped situationally.<\/p>\n During the asphalting, the road will be completely closed, and public transport routes will change. Trolleybuses No. 22, 23, and 25 will be shortened to certain stops. Bus routes and private transport will operate without changes to their routes but will use the opposite side of Stryiska Street, where two-way traffic will be organised.<\/p>\n Upon completion of the works, additional lanes for public transport will appear on Stryiska Street, which is relevant due to the high flow of buses and trolleybuses that travel along this street.<\/p>\n
