In total, the restrictions are set to last for about <strong>three months<\/strong>. The reason is a <strong>major overhaul of the bridge<\/strong>, carried out as part of the restoration project on the <strong>Lviv\u2013Rava-Ruska section<\/strong> of the M-09 road between <strong>km 129+807 and km 157+410<\/strong>. The works are being ordered by the Project Management Group of the Recovery Agency.<\/p>\n<h2>Detour options for drivers<\/h2>\n<p>Several temporary routes will be introduced for trucks and, where possible, for passenger cars traveling from <strong>Lviv toward Zhovkva<\/strong> and further onward.<\/p>\n<h3>Main detour routes<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Lviv \u2013 Malekhiv \u2013 Hamaliyivka \u2013 Vyslobovy \u2013 Zhovtantsi \u2013 Zvertiv \u2013 Artasiv \u2013 Zibolky \u2013 Zhovkva<\/strong><br \/>\nDrivers may also continue through <strong>Krekhiv<\/strong> to road <strong>R-84<\/strong> and then head toward <strong>Rava-Ruska<\/strong>. The same route will function in reverse from Zhovkva to Lviv.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lviv \u2013 Riasna-Ruska \u2013 Strach \u2013 Lozyna \u2013 Dubrovytsia \u2013 Maidan \u2013 Krekhiv \u2013 Zhovkva<\/strong><br \/>\nThis route will operate via road <strong>R-84<\/strong>. Traffic in the opposite direction will follow the same path in reverse order.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lviv \u2013 Malekhiv \u2013 Hamaliyivka \u2013 Vyslobovy \u2013 Zhovtantsi \u2013 Zvertiv \u2013 Kulykiv<\/strong><br \/>\nVehicles will then continue via <strong>Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street<\/strong>, exiting onto <strong>Zhovkivska Street<\/strong> near the new supermarket in Kulykiv, and then proceed toward Zhovkva. The reverse route will mirror this scheme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Temporary traffic scheme inside Kulykiv<\/h2>\n<p>During the bridge repair period, a separate traffic arrangement will operate within the settlement. It will apply <strong>only to passenger cars, emergency vehicles, and route buses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Travel from Lviv toward Zhovkva<\/h3>\n<p>Drivers entering Kulykiv from the Lviv side will bypass the closed section through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mazepy Street<\/strong>, where <strong>one-way traffic<\/strong> will be introduced;<\/li>\n<li>access to <strong>Hrushevskoho Street<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>a further turn and movement onto <strong>Zahoroda Street<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>exit near the <strong>Rukavychka supermarket<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Travel from Zhovkva toward Lviv<\/h3>\n<p>Vehicles coming from the Zhovkva side will follow a temporary route through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zahoroda Street<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>connection to <strong>Hrushevskoho Street<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>movement through the village of <strong>Nadychi<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>re-entry onto <strong>Hrushevskoho Street<\/strong> in Kulykiv;<\/li>\n<li>then one-way traffic toward Lviv with an exit near the mill onto <strong>Lvivska Street<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Key local traffic changes<\/h2>\n<p>For the duration of the restrictions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zahoroda Street in Kulykiv<\/strong> will remain open in both directions;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hrushevskoho Street in Nadychi<\/strong> will also remain two-way;<\/li>\n<li>traffic priority will change at the intersection leading toward <strong>Hrebintsi, Sulymiv, and Nove Selo<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>from <strong>April 27, 2026<\/strong>, the main priority road will be the L-shaped section along <strong>Hrushevskoho Street in Nadychi<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>all required <strong>warning and prohibition signs<\/strong> will be installed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bus service during the closure<\/h2>\n<p>During the repair works, buses traveling through Kulykiv will still include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>all routes heading toward <strong>Rava-Ruska<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>buses serving the <strong>Zhovkva direction<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the same time, buses on the <strong>Sokal direction<\/strong> will be rerouted as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zhovkva \u2013 Zibolky \u2013 Artasiv \u2013 Zvertiv \u2013 Zhovtantsi \u2013 Vysloboky \u2013 Hamaliyivka \u2013 Malekhiv \u2013 Lviv<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and back in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n<h2>Temporary parking restrictions<\/h2>\n<p>During the period of traffic reorganization, parking will be prohibited in Kulykiv:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>near the <strong>Rukavychka supermarket<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>close to the <strong>Dykanka restaurant<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Residents of <strong>Zahoroda Street<\/strong> are also asked not to leave their vehicles along the roadside, as parked cars may interfere with traffic flow.<\/p>\n<h2>Authorities involved in traffic coordination<\/h2>\n<p>To ensure that transport movement remains organized during the repair period, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Lviv Oblast is coordinating with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <strong>West Operational Command<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>National Police<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>State Emergency Service<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Security Service of Ukraine<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ukrtransbezpeka<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the regional and district military administrations of Lviv;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Kulykiv Settlement Council<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Lviv City Council<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Drivers are advised to plan their trips in advance, follow the temporary road signs, and take the updated detour scheme into account while the bridge in Kulykiv is under major repair.
