In Lviv<\/strong> on 22 May, the 17th Spring Business Forum 2026 is taking place, which in a hybrid format has brought together over 500 participants to discuss Ukraine’s economic development in wartime conditions and amid global challenges.<\/p>\n The event is held under the slogan “Holding the line and growing”. Due to security concerns, some participants are joining online, while speakers, partners and guests are working offline at the Lem Station venue. The Lviv City Council<\/strong> is traditionally a co-organiser of the forum.<\/p>\n The Mayor, Andriy Sadovyi<\/strong>, stressed the importance of supporting businesses that continue to operate in Ukraine, create jobs and invest in development, and also noted that Lviv remains a city of opportunity thanks to new projects, international cooperation and investor interest.<\/p>\n Throughout the day, participants are discussing the challenges facing the Ukrainian economy and business: macro- and microeconomic issues, the adaptation of Ukraine’s economy to EU standards, the development of human capital in the context of migration processes, the situation in the financial and banking sectors, as well as institutional support for Ukraine from international partners. Separate panels are devoted to examples of the development of successful Ukrainian companies during the full-scale war.<\/p>\n Among the forum’s speakers are representatives of leading Ukrainian companies, international financial institutions and the expert community. In particular, the CEO of OKKO, Vasyl Danyliak, KNESS co-owner Serhiy Shakalov, and representatives of the EBRD, the International Finance Corporation, KredoBank, Vox Ukraine, the Lviv IT Cluster, the “Come Back Alive” foundation and other organisations are taking part.<\/p>\n As part of the forum, a charity auction entitled “Birds of Victory” is planned, with the proceeds to be directed towards supporting Ukrainian defenders.<\/p>\n “Ideas become opportunities when the right people meet in the right place. The large turnout at the event tells me that people are keen to understand what will happen to this country, they are keen to build communications with those around them, and they are keen to understand how, together with these people, to build something that will allow this country to stand firm. We face a difficult future, but together we are capable of overcoming the challenges,” said the forum’s organiser, Volodymyr Hlashchenkov.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Spring Business Forum has been held in Lviv since 2009.
