The Face to Face mission of American plastic and reconstructive surgeons is coming to Lviv, to the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center. Here, together with Lviv doctors, they will treat patients for free.
In particular, during November 12-17, doctors will consult and perform reconstructive operations on military and civilian Ukrainians who suffered as a result of the war and received face and neck injuries. Specialists include plastic, maxillofacial and reconstructive surgeons, ENTs, orthopedists and ophthalmologists.
Doctors have already selected patients for complex reconstructive operations on the face and neck. All surgical interventions and stays in the clinic will be free for them. In general, within the framework of this mission, they plan to help 42 patients.
By the way, this is already the third Face to Face mission in Ukraine, during which 50 patients were previously operated on, and another 80 were consulted.
The humanitarian mission was created in cooperation with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) (The Educational and Research Foundation) and the organizations Razom for Ukraine and INgenius.
