Plastic surgeons from the United States will come to Lviv to consult children with facial defects

From February 26 to March 2, at the St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital of the First Medical Association of Lviv, American plastic surgeons, together with their Ukrainian colleagues, will conduct consultations for children with deformities and neoplasms of the face and body.

In particular, they will consult children with: cleft lip and palate; speech disorders with cleft palate; Poland syndrome; nose and ear deformities; facial paralysis; burns; facial scars; lipomas; congenital nevi; and breast diseases.

The specialists are also ready to take on the elimination of the Pierre Robin sequence, maxillary and mandibular osteotomy and craniosynostosis, and other defects and diseases that lead to deformities and disfigurements.

After a preliminary consultation, a team of American-Ukrainian plastic surgeons will select and operate on the most difficult patients.
