American doctors visited the Town Hall and performed 26 unique operations in Lviv

Today, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy met with a team of American plastic surgeons from the Face to Face international medical mission. As part of the mission in Lviv, in one of the hospitals, American doctors performed unique face reconstruction operations using bones from the legs and arms. In 7 days, the team performed 26 operations of varying complexity.

One such operation takes about 15 hours and helps not only to restore the face, but also to restore the ability to eat and speak normally.

It is important that these extremely complex operations were carried out together with local doctors, so that Lviv surgeons could perform them independently after such missions.

In addition, as part of the Face to Face mission, the team donated equipment for sterilization and operations, surgical instruments and consumables to the hospital.

During the meeting, the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, presented the UNBREAKABLE humanity project to the American plastic surgeons.
