As part of the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which this year is called “Mental Health: Resilience and Vulnerability of the Future”, memorandums of cooperation between Ukrainian health care institutions and hospitals from different countries of the world were signed.
In particular, 25 Ukrainian hospitals found international partners among hospitals from other countries.
Lviv National Medical University named after Lviv became the only medical educational institution of higher education that signed such a memorandum. Danylo Halytskyi. Therefore, the Lviv University will cooperate with the Vienna Medical University. Such a choice was historically conditioned, because LNMU has long-standing ties with the Austrian medical school, famous scientists from the 18th century, who were practically the founders of Lviv University.
The document was signed by the acting rector of LNMU named after Danyla Halytskoho, Doctor of Medical Sciences Orest Chemerys and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Work of the Medical University of Vienna, Dr. Mikaela Fritz.
Among the new opportunities for cooperation are the involvement of foreign specialists to work directly in Ukraine, exchange of knowledge and experience during internships, conducting joint scientific research, scientific-practical conferences, educational events, monitoring and telemedical consultations, exchange of depersonalized data for conducting research, writing joint scientific publications.
