Lviv Hospitals to Expand Rehabilitation Services

In Lviv, there are plans to increase the number of rehabilitation departments in city hospitals and diagnostic centers, which are gradually being transformed from polyclinics. The reform envisions providing additional services for both military personnel and veterans, as well as residents who need them. This direction was defined during the working group on the city’s medical strategy until 2030.

First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko reported that medical institutions are considering the possibility of allocating new spaces for rehabilitation. The proposals will be discussed in detail at the next meeting of the working group. Deputy Mayor Iryna Kulych noted that the Minister of Health, Viktor Lyashko, supported this initiative during a coordination meeting with medical institutions in Ukraine.
