Lviv doctors improved their ability to provide assistance in life-threatening conditions

100 anesthesiologists and emergency physicians of the First Medical Association of Lviv took part in an educational master class on ultrasound diagnostics in intensive care and regional anesthesiology. The teachers were doctors from Johns Hopkins Medicine Hospital (USA).

For three days, the medics practiced providing assistance to patients in complex and life-threatening conditions with breathing disorders and using all the most modern methods of patient oxygenation.

One of the trainers was Oleg Turkot, an anesthesiologist, associate professor at Johns Hopkins University in the USA, and a Ukrainian by origin, who has been regularly bringing humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

“We sincerely thank you for the knowledge and experience that will help us save the lives of Ukrainians from different parts of our country every day,” says the First Medical Association of Lviv.

By the way, John Hopkins Hospital, where Oleg Turcot currently works, is one of the largest and most modern medical centers in the world in the USA, where more than 4 million patients seek help annually.
