Anesthesiologists of the First Medical Association of Lviv completed a three-day course on providing medical aid to the wounded in combat conditions (Tactical Combat Casualty Care). The training took place with the support of the All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council.
Training of doctors consisted of lecture and practical parts with working out various scenarios. The course itself is a comprehensive, practically-oriented training, which corresponds to the world protocols and principles of helping the wounded in the conditions of military operations.
“Countries that have implemented a training system in accordance with the recommendations of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (such as NATO countries and their allies), according to the latest analytical data, have the best system for providing medical care and evacuation during hostilities. And adhering to them means saving the maximum number of lives,” the First Medical Association of Lviv explains.
The course was conducted by qualified certified instructors of the All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the First Medical Association of Lviv has been treating, prosthetics, and rehabilitating wounded Ukrainians – children, adults, and military personnel from all over the country. And on April 11, a modern rehabilitation building became operational here within the NEZLAMNI ecosystem: it has 7 floors with the most modern rehabilitation equipment, and every year 10 thousand Ukrainians will be able to receive help here.
