The Lviv Regional Perinatal Center received medical equipment from Germany, Norway and Japan

The portable equipment of the medical facility was donated by the charitable organization IOM Ukraine.

In particular, the Center received an expert-class ultrasound machine with 3 sensors, two 12-channel cardiographs, pyrometers (infrared thermometers) and oxygen concentrators for artificial lung ventilation.

“This portable equipment can be used both in the departments and in the shelter. We are open 24/7. In any situation, we are responsible for two lives and health at the same time – a newborn and a young mother. Many countries of the world responded to the needs of Ukraine. This assistance became real thanks to the financing of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, the Government and people of Japan, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway,” said the director of the Center Maria Malachynska.

We should add that more than a thousand children were born to internally displaced women in the Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center during the full-scale invasion.
