Anyone interested can donate blood on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lviv Regional Center for Blood Services (Lviv, Pekarska St., 65).
Approximately 70 donors can be accepted here per day. Blood is needed to replenish supplies and meet the needs of medical institutions. This was announced by the head of LOVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
Who can become a donor?
• A person aged 18 to 60
• Weighing at least 60 kilograms
• Without chronic diseases
What is important before donating blood?
• Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours
• Do not eat fried, dairy, bananas or fatty food for 12 hours
• Drink warm sweet tea with cookies in the morning before the procedure
At least 60 days must have passed since the previous blood donation. You must have your passport or driver’s license with you.
