In Chervonohrad district, poultry are not allowed to walk outside due to the massive incidence of influenza

The Chervonohrad District Department of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Lviv Oblast informs that due to the deteriorating epizootic situation with highly pathogenic avian influenza in Ukraine, poultry owners are asked to comply with veterinary and sanitary requirements for keeping poultry in private households.

In particular, during the migration of wild birds, poultry should be kept in isolation, indoors or in enclosures, and should not be allowed to walk on communal pastures, ponds, rivers and other bodies of water, which will prevent contact with wild migratory and synanthropic birds (sparrows, crows, pigeons, etc.).

If dead poultry are found, immediately notify the state veterinary medicine institutions.
