The “Lege artis” training pharmacy was opened at the Lviv Medical College of Postgraduate Education

Today, November 10, within the framework of the II Autumn Nursing Forum, the Lviv Medical College of Postgraduate Education presented the educational pharmacy “Lege artis” and the updated pharmaceutical department.

The project was implemented within the framework of the Polish development cooperation program financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

“From now on, students of our college will draw knowledge not only from books and theoretical lectures, but directly from practice. As you can see, everything here is thought out to the smallest detail and everything will happen as in real life. Every graduate who will study here will have a solid foundation for their professional growth. I believe that this good initiative will further raise the level of practical knowledge of our students and will have a positive effect on the quality of services provided by the pharmaceutical network of the Lviv Oblast,” said regional council deputy Oleg Duda.

Director of the Lviv Medical College of Postgraduate Education, Lesya Vovk, thanked the Polish partners for the help and fruitful cooperation between the college and the Polish Science for Development Foundation. “This is a great contribution to the development of pharmaceutical education in our country,” stressed Lesya Vovk.

“In our pharmaceutical education and training center, students will be able to acquire practical skills and apply them in practice in the future. An educational pharmacy is located here, where students will be able to learn to work under conditions close to real ones, also in classrooms. samples of drugs of various pharmacological groups are presented, there is multimedia equipment, we will study the indications for the use of medical drugs and work directly in the pharmacy”, – said the teacher of the discipline “Organization and Economics of Pharmacy” Ph.D. of Pharm. Andriy Datsko.

Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv Eliza Dzvonkiewicz noted the ambitious goal of the college management. According to her, Polish colleagues are surprised by Ukraine, which in such a difficult time of Russian aggression did not stop, but is making efforts to develop and create such conditions for obtaining quality education.

The president of the Polish Foundation “Science for Development” Wieslav Ptah noted that the presented department is the result of the great work of the project’s founders and the Polish side will continue to support and develop cooperation with the Lviv Region.
