Today, at a meeting of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council, a decision was made to create and operate a general city electronic registration for dental prosthetics and medical and surgical preparation for it for privileged categories of residents of the Lviv community.
One of the tasks of the City program of dental prosthetics and medical and surgical preparation for it of privileged categories of residents of the Lviv urban territorial community for 2023-2025 is the creation and administration of a platform (portal) for accounting of privileged categories of residents to provide them with dental prosthetics using an electronic queue.
“The electronic queue should ensure the right of preferential categories of residents of the Lviv MTG to access dental prosthetics to improve the chewing and speech function of the jaw system on preferential terms. Introduce a unified approach to registration and service provision, simplify the registration procedure, ensure transparency and provision of dental prosthetics services and medical and surgical preparation for it. And also to increase the efficiency of data collection about such”, – explained Marta Matyushko, head of the health care department of the Lviv City Council.
We will remind, on September 28, 2023, the session of the Lviv City Council approved the City Program for dental prosthetics and medical and surgical training for it for privileged categories of residents of the Lviv City Territorial Community for 2023-2025. By the end of the year, they plan to allocate UAH 1 million for this.
The program will help provide beneficiaries – residents of the Lviv community with free dental prosthetics. It concerns the manufacture of fixed prostheses made of steel and plastic and removable prostheses made of plastic, with the exception of prosthetics made of precious metals, ceramics, metal ceramics, implants.
Such services are provided by: communal non-commercial enterprises “Dental Clinic No. 1”, located on Ave. Shevchenko, 24, “Dental Polyclinic No. 4”, located on Symonenka, 6a, as well as the State-funded dental polyclinic of Lviv, which is located on Ave. Chornovola, 45a. Reimbursement of expenses for the provided services will be carried out within the limits of expenses provided for in the budget of the Lviv community.
