In the NEZLAMNI center, doctors restored the fighter’s ability to move his arm

In the NEZLAMNI National Rehabilitation Center of the First Medical Association of Lviv, doctors operated on a 39-year-old defender who was seriously wounded at the front. The damage was so severe that it tore a nerve in his hand.

First, the serviceman received help in Kramatorsk, Dnipro, and then in Lviv. Here, in the center of UNBREAKABLE, a warrior is embarking on a complex operation. Doctors sewed up the torn nerve, and the operation was successful: the defender is starting to feel his hand.

Now the man is actively working with rehabilitation specialists and is enjoying his first successes. He can already pick up light objects with his injured hand and puts on a shirt by himself. Doctors say: very soon the function of the hand will be completely restored.

After treatment, the soldier plans to return to the front to continue defending Ukraine.

Hundreds of people suffer every day due to Russian aggression, so in order to make their treatment and rehabilitation comfortable and accessible in Ukraine, a multidisciplinary team works with every Ukrainian in the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN in Lviv, providing surgical, physical, psychological and psychosocial professional assistance. Thanks to the support of donors, a prosthetic workshop has already been opened and bionic prostheses are being installed.
