All 100% of patients with acute cerebral stroke and acute coronary syndrome are hospitalized in a hospital with the possibility of providing specialized medical care.
During the past week – from May 21 to 27 – the operative dispatch department of the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine received 10,680 calls to the number “103”.
EMD teams made 4,170 visits to patients; in 3355 cases these were patients in emergency and critical conditions.
2035 patients were transported to the regional hospital by ambulance crews.
48.8% of emergency calls ended with hospitalization of patients, in 51.2% of calls, assistance was provided at the scene.
