Today, the renovated premises of the anesthesiology department with intensive care units and the rehabilitation department were consecrated.
This was announced by the head of the Chervonohrad VA Andriy Dyachenko.
“I will focus on the rehabilitation department. The military and patients undergoing rehabilitation from stroke, musculoskeletal injuries and neurological diseases will be able to recover here.
The premises were overhauled and equipped with special simulators to ensure efficient and quick recovery of patients.
UAH 1.5 million was allocated from the Sokal city budget for the purchase of medical equipment. The overhaul of the premises cost more than UAH 700 thousand, which was funded by the NHSU.
And it is impossible not to note that the hospital’s medical staff invested not only their own money, but also a lot of effort, warmth and love in this place.
In total, the ward has 20 beds. The manipulation room, water rehabilitation room, physical rehabilitation room, massage room, psychologist’s room, occupational therapy room and other auxiliary rooms were also modernized and repaired. The medical staff has undergone and continues to undergo special training to help patients effectively.
Today we had the opportunity to see how urgent the need for rehabilitation spaces for our defenders is. Now a soldier from Sokal is undergoing rehabilitation here, who assured us that recovery at home is more comfortable psychologically, and especially under the supervision of qualified rehabilitation specialists.
In total, in February alone, rehabilitation specialists have already helped more than 20 patients.
The renovation of the department is primarily an opportunity for the full development of the Sokal community.
Unfortunately, many soldiers who need rehabilitation are returning and will continue to return to us. They need to receive the best and highest quality services to recover quickly and easily. This is what is important.
