The National Immunization Portal has become operational in Ukraine

In order to improve public awareness and popularize routine vaccinations among children and adults, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, with the support of international and national partners, created the National Immunization Portal.

The National Immunization Portal was created by the Coalition for Vaccination State Government thanks to the support of the American people, provided through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the project “Building a Sustainable Public Health System”, which is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Center for Public health of Ukraine.

Immunization portal:

promotes increased coverage of preventive vaccinations and the prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases through the distribution of publications and educational materials for the public and health professionals;
empowers communication about the safety, efficacy, and use of vaccines to the broader community of patients, parents, healthcare providers, and public health agencies.

“This portal is designed to become a unique information hub, where everyone – from a mother who is planning her child’s first vaccinations to a medical worker who is directly involved in immunoprophylaxis – will be able to find relevant and useful information about vaccination,” the MES said.
