This is not the first time the doctor has visited the hospital.
An unplanned, but highly anticipated, visit of Dr. Hakan Aguir took place the other day at the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center.
“The famous surgeon said that while visiting Ukraine, he couldn’t help but come to ZUSMDTC, and found time in his busy schedule to visit our hospital,” the ZUSMDTC reported.
The professor from Turkey stayed at the Center for only one day. But even in such a short time, the surgeon managed to conduct 15 consultations and operate on three patients with plastic defects of the face and other parts of the body.
“Next time, Hakan Ahir plans to come in May. We are already preparing for operations the patients whom the professor examined in February. But, when the exact dates become known, we will additionally open an online consultation appointment,” said Orest Leshnevskyi, a pediatric surgeon at the Center.
