Starting today, mobile vaccination points will operate in Lviv: citizens are invited to get vaccinated

The vaccine “teaches” the immune system to recognize the virus and fight it. Therefore, on the occasion of the World Immunization Week, the Department of Health Protection of the Lviv City Council invites you to participate in the “Days of Love for Vaccination” campaign.

Mobile points will operate in various locations of the city from Monday, April 24 to Saturday, April 29. Therefore, everyone who wants to get vaccinated to protect themselves from diseases is invited to come.

In particular, daily – from Monday to Saturday inclusive, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the vaccination point will operate at the Dovzhenka Center in Sykhov. Also, on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., medics will work in a modular town in Sykhov. On Tuesday, the mobile point will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Samchuk Street. On Wednesday – from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Main Railway Station, and on Thursday – from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the polyclinic on Simonenko Street. A more detailed schedule is attached below.

You can be vaccinated against such dangerous diseases as poliomyelitis, diphtheria and tetanus, hemophilic infection, etc. (according to the preventive vaccination calendar), as well as against COVID-19.

“Today, vaccination remains the only reliable way to protect yourself from serious infections, including the coronavirus. It is important to understand that now people actively migrate both within the country and outside its borders, and this is a constant gathering of a large number of people, plus stress and anxiety, weakened immunity. All this, unfortunately, contributes to the faster spread of infections, so unvaccinated people are at risk. We kindly ask you to take care of your health and the health of your child and get scheduled vaccinations,” the LMR Health Department emphasizes.
