During the last two weeks, the incidence of COVID-19 in the Lviv region decreased by more than 33%

Last week, 112 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the region.

According to the data of the monitoring of the incidence of the population of Lviv region for COVID-19, during the pandemic period as of 04/27/2023. 333,837 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered, 6,927 people died, 324,411 recovered.

From April 21 to 27, 2023, 112 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Lviv region, compared to 191 cases in the previous week – a 41.4% decrease in incidence. The main share – 47.3% of all cases were registered in the Lviv district. 610 people recovered, 1 person died. 122 people are receiving inpatient treatment.

Over the past 14 days, the Lviv region has seen a 33.1% decrease in morbidity. Compared to the previous two-week period – 303 cases of COVID-19 were registered against 453 cases in the previous two-week period.

Exceeding the average regional incidence rate was registered in Zolochiv district – by 107%, Stryi district – 13.61%, Lviv district – 2.3%.

Also, during the World Immunization Week, which lasted from April 24 to 30, more than 1,000 vaccinations were carried out in Lviv region – the most vaccinations were against diphtheria, tetanus and coronavirus.
