70 soldiers and family members of the fallen have already signed up for free swimming lessons in Lviv

Free swimming lessons are being held in Lviv for military personnel and family members of fallen Ukrainian defenders. As of today, 70 people have already taken advantage of this opportunity.

“As part of the comprehensive programme for the development of military sports, more than 70 participants have already registered for free swimming lessons. I would like to remind you that servicemen, veterans and family members of the fallen defenders of Ukraine have the opportunity to improve their health through physical culture and sports in Lviv. All relevant information about all free training sessions and activities can be found on the pages of the military sports department on social media,” said Anton Nikulin, Head of the Department of Sports and Youth Policy of Lviv.

As a reminder, the Department of Sports and Youth Policy in cooperation with the Training and Sports Base for Summer Sports of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has launched a new area within the framework of the Comprehensive Programme for the Development of Military, War Veterans and Adaptive Sports.

Free swimming lessons will be held in the pool at 39A Kleparivska Street, where active accessibility and barrier-free works are currently underway.
