Children with lesions of the central nervous system, with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, with cardiac problems, etc., will receive help here.
As the Stryi city council informs, the center employs a doctor of physical rehabilitation medicine, a physiotherapist, a physiotherapist, a psychologist, a speech therapist, a massage nurse, a physical therapy nurse and a physiotherapy nurse.
There is equipment necessary for physical rehabilitation (modern verticalizers, massage tables, rehabilitation boards, a treadmill, a Swedish wall, a bicycle ergometer, a unique Cuba Buba game module, of which there are only 5 in Ukraine, etc.).
The physiotherapy office was equipped with equipment for magnetic, laser, ultrasound therapy and thermal procedures (paraffin and ozokerite applications).
All treatment for small patients is free. The department will be financed in accordance with the requirements of the NSZU packages.
The center is located on the first floor of the former medical institution on Chornovola Avenue. Soon, the second floor will be opened for the provision of medical services.
It was possible to open such a center thanks to financing from the city budget, philanthropists and the National Health Service for a total amount of almost UAH 2 million.
