Over the past week, 489 patients were hospitalised in the hromada hospitals – Drohobych City Hospital No. 1 and Stebnytsia City Hospital.
This was announced during a Monday staff meeting by Volodymyr Chuba, head of the healthcare department.
Despite the abnormal heat and high temperatures, no cases of sunstroke or heat stroke were reported to the hromada’s healthcare facilities.
Meanwhile, over the past week, 17 heart attacks were recorded, 11 patients underwent stenting and 17 strokes, and one thrombolysis was performed.
According to the official, it is extremely important to seek medical help in time at the first symptoms. After all, prompt actions of doctors significantly increase the chances of timely rescue of the patient and minimise the risk of negative consequences and complications.
In total, over the past week, the doctors of the Drohobych Hromada performed 67 surgical interventions. Of these, 14 were urgent.
Over the past week, 18 babies were born in the maternity ward of Drohobych City Hospital – 5 boys and 13 girls.
