Over the past week, the KCC of the region provided almost 1,500 services to people in difficult life circumstances

Many people turn to psycho-emotional support.

During February 13-17, advisory and coordination centers of the Lviv region provided one and a half thousand services for people who found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Of this number, 353 services were provided by psychologists of these centers.

“Such centers have been operating in every district of Lviv region since August of last year at the initiative of the Lviv OVA. With the support of many charitable organizations, foundations, volunteer communities, the centers provide free assistance to everyone who needs it, including forced migrants. Thank you to everyone who cares about the emotional state of our citizens, who helps them with humanitarian packages, who supports people in finding employment and housing, as well as everyone who provides legal advice. Thank you for the efforts you make to support people who are in difficult life circumstances,” said the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi.

We would like to remind you that psychological support, legal advice, targeted financial assistance, referral to a doctor, etc. can be obtained at the KCC. IDPs can register for a consultation by filling out the form at the link: https://cutt.ly/mXDsW14

The KCC of the region also initiated consultations from the specialists of the Employment Center in order to acquaint IDPs with employment opportunities and tell them about vacancies. This will contribute to the socialization of forced migrants in the communities of the districts.

Financial and humanitarian assistance to IDPs in the regions of the region was provided by the following charitable funds: Solidarites International, “Premier Urzhans International”, BO “Caritas-Sokal”, BF “Pravo na Zahyst”, “Family Health Clinic”, Society of the Red Cross, BF “Caritas Lviv”.

Legal advice was provided by: Danish Refugee Council, Norwegian Refugee Council, BF “Rokada”, BF “Right to Protection”, BF “Caritas Boryslav”.

Psychological consultation was carried out by specialists: BF “Premier Urgent International”, International Medical Corps, BF “Man in Trouble”, “Rokada”, BF “Caritas SDE”, Malta Aid Service, “Help Age International”.
