On May 18, at 09:34, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Parting of the Sambir region in a Ford Sierra car.
The rescuers of the 28th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Turka went to the place of the call.
As it turned out at the scene, the car caught fire while driving. The driver tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher. The driver did not manage to put out the fire on his own.
At 09:54 the fire was localized and at 09:58 extinguished by firefighters.
The fire destroyed the engine compartment on the area of 2 sq.m., the instrument panel on the area of 2 sq.m., the windshield on the area of 1.5 sq.m., the interior of the car on the area of 4 sq.m.
3 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
