The Lviv volunteers of Litinsky and Ostrovsky were searched

This morning, the police searched the residences of Lviv volunteers Svyatoslav Litinskyi and Nazarii Ostrovskyi.

This is reported by “Our money”.

Litynsky and Ostrovsky are involved in the criminal proceedings regarding the illegal sale of humanitarian aid – cars. On August 16, the investigating judge of the Holosiiv District Court of Kyiv, Victoria Khomenko, issued the decision to conduct searches as part of criminal proceedings from June 24, 2022.

Currently, the decisions in this pre-trial investigation were not published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions at all.

Lytinsky is now in Poland, where he went to get another car for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He learned about the search from his wife. In the morning, there was a call at the door of his apartment and he was informed that they had brought a summons. But when the wife opened it, she was handed a search warrant.

Around the same time, the search took place at the residence of Ostrovsky, who was also engaged in searching for and importing cars for the Armed Forces.

“It is difficult for me to comment on anything now – I am being searched. But this is a pure fabrication. I am very surprised. As far as I understand, the question here is not so much about me as about the chaplain to whom we gave the car. We, as they say, “go by trailer “. I physically delivered this car for chaplain Ihor Plokhy, who is currently serving in the Mykolaiv area,” the volunteer said.

Litynsky also confirmed that the car was handed over to Plohom.

Svyatoslav Litynskyi together with associates imported and handed over 250 cars to the military. He reported on fundraising and all expenses on his page.

We will remind you that on August 30, the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv chose a preventive measure for Lviv artist Oles Dzindra and volunteer Yuri Muzychuk. Law enforcement agencies accused them of selling cars imported from abroad with zero customs clearance as humanitarian aid.

The Prosecutor General’s Office announced that they are identifying other involved persons.
