Fortunately, the lives of minors are not in danger
Today, February 14, around 2:50 p.m., the police received a report that two children had fallen under the ice on Lake Promin in the town of Zhydychiv.
Employees of the response sector of the patrol police and other employees of police department No. 1 of the Stryi district police department, as well as employees of the security police in the Lviv region, immediately arrived at the scene.
The law enforcement officers saw that two teenagers were in the water and could drown at any moment. Without wasting a minute, the police rushed to their aid and pulled the children out of the icy water.
The rescued 14-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl, local residents, were handed over by the police to the medics, and now the doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance and examination. There is no threat to the lives of minors.
