Entrepreneur to Return Overpaid Funds for Backhoe Loader

The Commercial Court has upheld the claim of the Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office concerning the recovery of excessively paid funds from an entrepreneur. Prosecutors found that after a public procurement, a sales contract for a backhoe loader was concluded between a municipal enterprise and the entrepreneur, with the price unjustifiably inflated by nearly 700,000 UAH. This resulted in unnecessary expenses from the local community’s budget. In response to this violation, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit, which was fully satisfied. Once the decision is legally binding, steps will be taken for its actual enforcement.
